Honors and Awards:

  • I earned Student of the Week in 8th grade at Chief Kanim Middle School.
  • I was named the Outstanding Student of the Quarter at Mount Si High School the third quarter of my Junior year.
  • I was given high honors in the second semester of my sophomore year at Mt. Si. High School.
  • I was invited to Randy Taylor and John Belcher's quarterly Spotlight Breakfast four times during my time at Mount Si High School.
  • My team won the judge vote in a 48 hour film competition at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth.
  • I helped edit a video project which won an Award of Excellence at the Northwest High School Film Festival.

Work Experience 

  • I directed an instructional video for the FBI called Safe Catch.
  • I have recorded three semiannual concerts for the Snoqualmie Valley Girls Choir and produced a set of DVDs for each event.
  • I have recorded two annual concerts for Amazing Grace Elementary School.
  • I have recorded countless concerts, dance recitals, and plays for the schools around Snoqualmie Valley.
  • I co-directed an instructional video about parenting for the Mount Si Counseling Center.
  • I wrote directed and edited my very own 12 minute short film.
  • I have participated in two 48 hour film competitions.
  • I was the director of photography on a 10 day video shoot for a short film.
  • I created an advertisement for my school's Café.
  • I was the cinematographer for a music video for a local band Trace, which was screened at NFFTY 2010.
  • I am currently in my fourth year on the video production team at Mount Si.
  • I was the treasurer for the Wildcat Production Club 2010-2011.
  • I am currently the President of Video and Graphic Design for the Wildcat Production Club 2011-2012.
